Odors and Stains Elimination

In most cases, even a young, healthy dog or cat will urinate on your carpet every once and a while. But, as your pet grows older, health issues, such as kidney or bladder problems, eyesight, and your pet's medication, can greatly exacerbate this problem.


At this point, instead of breaking out the vinegar and carpet sprays, it might be a wise investment to buy a relatively cheap carpet cleaner. There are even cleaners designed specifically for pets, such as the Bissell Spotbot.


Another tip is to buy "fancy pants" for your pet. They are available at almost any pet supply store. It may sound silly, but it will save you a lot of time and effort in cleaning up those nasty pet stains.


You can even make your own dog diapers with some leftover blue jeans, velcro, and elastic. Go to your local supermarket and find the cheapest menstrual pads you can find as inserts for your doggy diapers. Keep them on your pet when it is indoors or you are unable to take him/her outside.


If your pet goes to the bathroom, just remove the insert and replace! The only extra work you will have to do is to occasionally throw them in the wash, which is why it is also good to have a few pairs handy.When your pet does urinate on the floor, though, and you are unable to prevent it, you will be happy that you spent a little extra on a cleaner.


You can find carpet cleaning solution for pets at your local supermarket, and each bottle will take care of quite a few messes. All you have to do is fill your machine up, turn it on, let it do its work, and then put it away. Simple.


That, coupled with your fancy pants, will deliver a knock-out blow to your pet's nasty little problem, saving you time, money, and effort in the long run.
