Clean under furniture, especially chairs

My tip is to often clean the felt or plastic pads, or whatever you have under your furniture, especially things like chairs that are dragged around a lot. Dirt, sand, or dust can accumulate under there and scratch the floor when it's moved. Most my scratches have been from this.
